Gift Card - Frequently asked questions

What is a Presentimes Gift Card?

Presentimes gift cards hold a monetary value which can be redeemed against products from our stores and online.

They're identified by a unique number issued when purchased.

As soon as you begin using your Presentimes gift card, it's considered the same as using cash and so credit will decrease as you spend.

Can a gift card be used more than once?

Yes, provided there is still a balance remaining on the card.

Can gift cards be reloaded?

No, you can't reload a gift card.

Can gift cards be issued with any initial value?

In store or by phone you can purchase any amount you require. Online you can only purchase the select demonations on the system. Please visit us or call us on 01795 533 050 to purchase by phone a certain amount. Gift cards have a maximum value of £500 when issued.

Can more than one gift card be used towards a purchase?

Yes. A customer can redeem another gift card during checkout.

How do I check my Gift Card balance?

Unfortunately customers can't check their own gift card balance. Please email customerservice@presentimes.co.uk for your latest balance.

Can a gift card be used to buy a gift card?

No, you can't use a gift card to buy another gift card.

Can a gift card be used to pay for shipping and taxes?

Yes, gift cards are applied to the final order total which includes shipping and taxes.

Can gift cards be used in conjunction with a discount code?

Yes, gift cards are a form of payment.

How long is the gift card valid for?

Your Presentimes gift card can be used for 24 months once you begin using it. Any remaining balance on your card will be automatically cancelled after 24 months. If this happens, your gift card will no longer be valid and we won't be able to credit any remaining balance.

What happens if my card is lost or stolen?

If your card is lost or stolen, please email customer service customerservice@presentimes.co.uk or call us on 01795 533 050 for advice.

Can I return items with a gift card?

Yes you can depending on the items. As long as they are in a salesable condition. This excludes blown balloons and personalised items except for when damaged.

If you're not entirely happy with a purchase made using your Presentimes gift card and you'd like to return it for an exchange (or refund where applicable), any money refunded will automatically be credited to the gift card the purchase was made on.*

If you require a partial refund where the original purchase was made using your Presentimes gift card and another form of payment, any refund owed will be credited to your gift card in the first instance. If the total to be refunded is more than originally paid by your gift card, the remaining refund balance will be credited to the other method of payment you used.

* If you don't have your original Presentimes gift card anymore, we'll create a shiny new one for you and any refund applicable will be added to it.
